<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves determining and/or monitoring temperature of electronic power switches (S1-S6) e.g. semiconductor circuit breakers, based on a temperature model associated with each switch. Switching and operating parameters and temperature measurement values are processed in the model to calculate temperature and/or temperature difference in the switches. One value from a temperature sensor is used as an input parameter e.g. electric current, for the model, where the sensor is provided spatially at the center between the switches and has a heat-transmitting connection to a heat sink (1). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for determining and/or monitoring temperature of electronic power switches e.g. semiconductor circuit breakers, which are coupled to or arranged on a common heat sink, by an electronic power temperature-providing switch arrangement e.g. inverter, for an electric drive. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method determines and/or monitors the temperature of the electronic power switches in a simple, reliable, accurate, and cost-effective manner with all the switches and with only less addition to the switch arrangement. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a block diagram of a power section with an inverter and a digital signal processor.
