The present invention relates to a method of providing a grid network application over a transport network (100), wherein transport network resources of said transport network (100) are reserved, particularly for transporting data between grid network members (120, 130), and wherein grid network resources for said grid network application are reserved. The inventive method is characterized by using the same protocol for said step of reserving transport network resources and said step of reserving grid network resources thereby enabling a coordinated resource reservation. |
