Production of polyoxadiazole composites involves heating a mixture comprising a filler in polyphosphoric acid to functionalize the filler; mixing a hydrazine component and at least one dicarboxylic acid component with the mixture into a solution; heating the solution to form a polyoxadiazole composite; and precipitating the polyoxadiazole composite.
