PURPOSE: A compression garbage can is provided for a pushing member positioned on the upper part of a barrel by an elastic hanging piece to compress the garbage can contained within the barrel, thereby containing the large amount of garbage. CONSTITUTION: A compression garbage can(1) comprises a base(10), a barrel(20), a pushing member(30), a handle(40), a locking member(50), and a spring. The base comprises a receiving groove(11). The barrel is mounted on the receiving groove and comprises a hollow(21), a hanging projection(22), and an inlet(23). The pushing member comprises a protrusion portion(31). The protrusion portion is contacted with the hanging projection. The guide groove is formed on the inner surface of the handle which is formed on the upper surface of the pushing member. The locking member comprises a bar(51) and an elastic piece(52). The bar is installed in the guide groove and slides up and down. The elastic piece passes through the pushing member and hangs on the hanging projection. The spring is installed between the locking member and the handle. |
