The invention relates to a method for dispatching flat flexible products, especially printing products (9), stored in a stack. According to said method, a suctioning element (2) is used to fold the front edge section (31) of each individual product in a downward direction away from the underside of the stack of products (8), whereupon said individual products are dispatched by a gripper (3) which grasps the front edge section thereof. The direction in which the gripper (3) moves in the underside region of the stack (8) of the products extends essentially from the front edge section to the rear edge section of the products (9) located in the stack. Once each individual product (9) has been folded by the suctioning element (2), the suctioning element (2) is used to transfer said products directly to a gripper (3), whereby each individual product (9) is continuously maintained by the suctioning element (2) or the gripper (3) during the folding operation and dispatching occurs immediately thereafter. The stack of products rests with some portions of its underside on at least one rotating supporting disk which has at least one release cutout, a product being bent away when the leading edge region comes to lie in the region of the release cutout. The invention also relates to a device forimplementing said method.
