UNDERWATER TUNNELLING METHOD FOR USING INNER AND OUTER WATER PRESSURE OF STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: An underwater tunneling construction method using water pressure between inside and outside of structure is provided to reduce the cost and period of the construction. CONSTITUTION: An underwater tunneling construction method is as follows. A structure(100) with bottom, front and rear faces opened is manufactured. The structure is temporarily installed underwater, and coupled with a winch wire of a pressing pontoon and pulled up to the water, and then a measurement tower, an underwater pump and a temporary device are installed on the upper surface of a concrete slab(130). The pressing pontoon is carried to the installation position using a barge ship. The structure is dropped to the submerged soil and water is discharged water from the structure inside by using the underwater pump, and then the structure is put at a certain depth of the submerged soil. Another structure near the pre-installed structure is consecutively installed, and the structure inside is penetrated by an excavation tunneling. A concrete pavement is constructed inside of the bottom part, and a concrete wall is constructed both side parts of the structure.
