PURPOSE: A peak hold control device and a method thereof are provided to manage the peak time, hold duty, and hold cycle separately according to update using an update memory and a normal memory. CONSTITUTION: A peak hold control method using a peak hold control device which comprises a normal memory, an update memory, and a controller is as follows. Certain parameters including peak time, hold duty and hold cycle are stored in the normal memory(S410). Updated parameters are stored in the update memory(S430). The controller outputs peak and hold signals using the parameter stored in the normal memory(S440).
