PURPOSE: An Internet advertisement providing method and apparatus are provided for an advertiser to determine directly the details or popularity of contents through the contents, thereby providing selectively the contents. CONSTITUTION: Advertisement publication request information is first received from a client or a media server(S500). According to the received advertisement publication request, an advertisement server performs first advertiser authentication(S502). According to the authenticated advertiser information, advertisement data corresponding to the advertisement publication request is received, or advertisement data is read out from a pre-stored database(S504). In case corresponding contents are transmitted from the media server, the transmission information of the corresponding contents is received from the media server. The advertisement data is transmitted with the corresponding contents to a client (S506). |
