A golf stroke training device 100 includes a base 110 that has a first section 130 and a second section 140, and a vertical guide 120 coupled to the base. The first section 130 has an arc extending from an approximate midpoint 150 to a first end 160 of the device, and the second section 140 comprises a substantially straight edge extending from the approximate midpoint 150 to a second end 170 of the device. The second section 140 may additionally include an arced portion and the vertical guide 120 is preferably perpendicular to the base and curved so as the height of the vertical guide 120 is largest at the ends of the device 160, 170 and smallest at the midpoint of the device 150. |
