PURPOSE: A system for a distributed processing authentication service and a method thereof are provided to improve the efficiency of processing an authentication service by performing authentication service through a predetermined processor group. CONSTITUTION: In a device, if the authentication service for a mobile terminal connected to a service server from the service server is requested, a certificate server(130) performs the authentication service through a process group which already decided according to one or more authentication feature corresponding to the requested authentication service. At least one database(140) provides certification subject information to be authenticated. The certificate server includes a dispersion group and a process group. The dispersion group receives a request authentication message from the service server, and it secure at least one authentication feature corresponding to the certification subject information.
