PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are provided to execute all or partial functions of a mobile terminal by controlling a mobile terminal remotely through an external terminal. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit(110) controls an external terminal remotely. A display unit displays the display information transmitted from the external terminal. A control unit(180) controls the external terminal to transmit the display information in consideration of the display condition of the display unit. The control unit controls the general operation of the mobile terminal.
