PURPOSE: A floating/returning apparatus is providing to prevent the front end of an object from colliding with a floating device even when the floating height of the object is uniform. CONSTITUTION: A floating/returning apparatus comprises a plurality of floating units(21), a plurality of support rollers(7), and a returning unit. The floating unit comprises an even upper surface and a jetting hole for jetting a fluid. The floating unit jets the fluid from the jetting hole so that there is a reference height between the upper surface and the lower surface of an object. The object is floated. The support roller has a vertex. The support roller is contactable with the object at the vertex. The returning unit sends back the object.
