PURPOSE: A direction guide method for lines of a traffic network and a system are provided to select a lines direction easily even for unfamiliar people by selecting an arrow shape displayed on a direction indication board. CONSTITUTION: A direction guide method for lines of a traffic network is as follows. A specific direction is decided as a first direction according to a progress direction of each route in a traffic network. The opposite direction to the first direction is decided as a second direction. Two arrows in which form and color are different are designated. One of the designated arrows is assigned to the first direction, and the other arrow is assigned to the second direction, and then two lines directions are differently displayed by the assigned arrows. A route information map(131) in which the lines direction is displayed is manufactured and is provided to users. A direction indication board manufactured by using the assigned arrows is installed in a point of each line. The direction indication board guides the lines direction based on information of a route map and the direction indication board.
