PURPOSE: A sterilization cleaning method of a drum washing machine is provided to generate steam by heating a small amount of water to remove various germs and mites of laundry, thereby reducing consumption of energy and water. CONSTITUTION: An internal temperature of a drum generates steam to rise up to a first target temperature(S20, S30). While the internal temperature of the drum is maintained at more than the first target temperature, steam cleaning is performed by rotating the drum(S40). When the steam cleaning is completed, main cleaning is carried out by rotating the drum(S80). The steam generating step is executed within a first limiting time. If the internal temperature does not rise up to the first target temperature within the first limiting time, an error is alarmed. |
