The device has a helical spring (20) arranged between a clamp (18) and a lock button (22) such that an effect axis is orthogonal to an axis (X) and is decentered with respect to a rotational axis of the button. The button has locking pins co-operated with lower and upper lateral grooves (186, 187) provided on the clamp. The grooves (186) maintain the clamp in a top or adjusting position, to allow free movement of a terminal (10) of an external control cable (16) along the axis (X). The grooves (187) maintain the clamp in a bottom or blocking position in which the clamp blocks the terminal.
