<p>The bogie has a speed-reduction gear set (24) including input and output gears (34, 36) and a casing (30). Each gear is rotatably mounted in the casing, and is coupled with a motor and one of wheels (18). The casing is mounted on a bogie chassis through a suspension device (25) in a displaceable manner with respect to the chassis. A control device (26) comprises a displacement sensor i.e. Hall effect sensor (70), for detecting the displacement of the casing with respect to the chassis. The wheels support and guide the bogie along a railway track. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling driving in rotation of a wheel of a bogie in a railway vehicle.</p> |
