PURPOSE: A ship intruder detection and repulsing apparatus and a method thereof are provided fire seawater automatically toward the subject with an electric automatic water cannon in case the subject is within a reference distance after analyzing video clip photographing the surrounding of a ship. CONSTITUTION: A ship intruder detection and repulsing apparatus comprise a monitor unit(100) and a control server(200). The monitor unit installed in the ship determines whether a subject enters into within a reference distance from the ship. In case the subject enters into within the reference distance from the ship, it generates an approaching signal. When the control server receives the approaching signal from the monitor unit, the water cannon fires seawater to the subject.
