The method involves obtaining a set of superstructure elements e.g. column or beam, each comprising a load bearing element (31) to which acoustic insulation and/or heat insulation element (32) is connected. The superstructure elements are assembled so as to form an insulated and load bearing superstructure of the building. A wall comprising an insulation layer on its surfaces is mounted at the exterior of the super structure, where the layer is arranged towards interior of the building. An outer insulation layer is arranged with respect to the insulation element. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a superstructure element i.e. beam, of a building.
