<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a bedding material for a livestock barn by effectively utilizing coffee lees, egg shells and tea lees treated as waste materials. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the bedding material for the livestock barn laid on the floor of the livestock barn is provided by carbonizing the coffee lees, then cooling to a normal temperature, then mixing powdery egg shells for containing the powdery egg shells in the pores of the coffee lees. Also, the bedding material for the livestock barn laid on the floor of the livestock barn is provided by carbonizing the coffee lees, then cooling to the normal temperature, and then mixing the powdery egg shells so as to contain the powdery egg shells in the pores of the coffee lees.
