PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration method, a calibration device and a program, adjusting easily a visual field position and a resolution of the whole visual field of a line sensor camera. SOLUTION: This program is used for allowing a computer to execute steps for: acquiring one-dimensional image by imaging by the line sensor camera, a reference plate having a pattern satisfying three following conditions (a)-(c): (a) Five or more linear elements crossing a virtual reference line exist. (b) Not all the linear elements are in parallel each other. (c) Not all prolonged lines of the linear elements do not cross at one point; detecting an image address corresponding to the linear element in the one-dimensional image obtained by imaging; estimating a coordinate conversion parameter for mapping an optional image address to a corresponding point on the reference plate by using the image address corresponding to the detected linear element and information of the position and the direction of the linear element on the reference plate; and calculating the visual field position of the line sensor camera on the reference plate and the resolution in each image address based on the estimated coordinate conversion parameter.
