<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing for a clutch release bearing device which can prevent muddy water entering and accumulating in an outer ring including a flange and a sealing member, or a clearance formed between the outer ring including the flange, the sealing member and an inner ring from entering the bearing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A front side sealing member 17 including an outer diameter end is formed by vulcanizing and welding a rubber member 28 to a core bar 26. The front side sealing member 17 has the outer diameter end bent to the bearing inner side to form a projecting section 17b, and this projecting section 17b is internally fitted into an outer ring 14. An inner diameter end is extended to the radially inner side to form a contacting lip 17a projected into the bearing inner side. This contacting lip 17a is axially contacted to an outer end surface 25 of a flange 20 of the inner ring 15.
