PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dripping of a soup boiled over from a grill pan from dropping into the body housing of a cooker. SOLUTION: The electric cooker has a heating means 3 for heating a grill pan 2 and a heat insulating plate 4 for preventing radiation downward of the heat of the heating means 3, each arranged in the body housing 1 on which the grill pan 2 is freely attachably/detachably mounted. On the outer circumference of the grill pan 2, there is installed a soup-dripping preventive rib 13 situated in a part perpendicular from the top flat part of the body housing 1, for the purpose of guiding the dripping of the boiled-over soup X from the outer circumference of the grill pan 2 to the outer periphery of the body housing 1. Thus, the soup X boiled over from the grill pan 2 mounted on the body housing 1 is designed to fall on the outer peripheral side of the body housing 1 by being guided with the soup-dripping preventive rib 13 formed on the outer circumference of the grill pan 2.
