PURPOSE: A submarine is provided to install a pressure hull and an anchor which is arranged in the outside of the pressure hull, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A submarine comprises a pressure hull, an anchor winch, and a drive motor(18). The anchor winch is arranged in the outside of a pressure hull. The drive motor drives the anchor winch. The drive motor is arranged in the outside of the pressure hull. A hydraulic motor is used as the drive motor. The drive motor forms the direct drive part of the anchor winch. A gear unit passing through the pressure hull of the submarine is not needed by the installation of the drive motor.
