A door lock of slam-latch type, comprising a pivotable latch (30), which is arranged to engage with a stud (14) of a door jamb (16), the direction of engagement of the latch (30) forming an angle of 45° with the door plane, which allows the same lock to be used for hinged doors as well as sliding doors. The lock (10) is also reversible for mounting on right-hung doors as well as left-hung doors. |
