<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent pad abrasion from being increased by large W/C pressure generated by a service brake at lock-control in a parking brake. <P>SOLUTION: At lock-control in the parking brake, when the W/C pressure generated by the service brake based on operation of a brake pedal of a driver is large (step 205), the W/C pressure is reduced than a target W/C pressure upper limit value TPWCU (step 220). Thereby, pad abrasion can be prevented from being increased by the large W/C pressure generated by the service brake. Further, a physique weight or the like of a caliper and a brake mechanism from being increased and miniaturization of the caliper and the brake mechanism can be attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
