<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic photographing device which performs pre-light emission for performing photometry with a small light quantity and in a wide range, while optimally setting the sensitivity of an imaging element according to photographing conditions. <P>SOLUTION: In the stroboscopic photographing device, when the sensitivity of the imaging element 104 in pre-light emission is set, it is determined whether or not ISO mode setting is a fixed ISO (step S301). When an ISO mode is not the fixed ISO mode, it is determined whether or not subject brightness satisfies high-brightness light emission conditions (step S302). When the subject brightness does not satisfy the high-brightness light emission conditions, the sensitivity of the imaging element 104 is set according to a subject distance (steps S304 to S308). When the ISO mode is not the fixed ISO mode and when the subject brightness satisfies the high-brightness light emission conditions, the sensitivity of the imaging element is set according to each ISO setting (step S303). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
