PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display narrowed-down candidate objects in the form of a list in a sequential order under the consideration of input conditions. SOLUTION: As for each target information as the object of retrieval, designations, addresses, and genres to be used as retrieval keys are specified, and the addresses and genres are hierarchized. For example, the addresses are hierarchized into prefectures (first level) and cities, wards, towns, and villages (second level) and so on, and the genres are hierarchized into eating and drinking (first level) and first food (second level) and so on. When the retrieval key and attributes and a logical arithmetic formula are decided, the candidate facilities are narrowed down according to the final arithmetic formula, and the order of display in the case of displaying the narrowed-down candidate facilities in the form of a list is determined based on the depth of the hierarchical level of each attribute. For example, when the hierarchical level of the retrieval key in the genre attributes is deeper than the hierarchical level of the retrieval key in the address attributes, the narrowed-down candidate facilities are displayed for every genre, and otherwise, the narrowed-down candidate facilities are displayed for every region or in the order of distance.
