PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply system which can surely supply and manage an ink, and to provide a management method of an ink supply amount in the system. SOLUTION: The ink supply system is equipped with one main tank 11, a plurality of subtanks 12 tubularly connected to the main tank, one recording means 13 to which the ink is supplied from each subtank 12, and a system control part 14 which grasps an ink amount in each subtank 12 and supplies the ink to each subtank 12. A total of ink consumption amounts of subtanks 12 is made an ink consumption amount of the main tank 11. Only the ink in one main tank 11 is required to be managed, and therefore supply of the ink to a plurality of the recording means 13 is stabilized. Mass-production of a recording medium of a high recording quality is enabled.
