PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package-filling apparatus which enables tools, kits, means, parts and so forth in an apparatus with which a liquid food comes into contact to easily be washed, and the propagation of germs and the mixing in of foreign matters to be prevented from occurring. SOLUTION: This package-filling apparatus fills and packages the liquid food in a container. A filling means consists of a nozzle which is installed at an upper position of a filling station and discharges the liquid food, and a liter 34b which lifts the container 33 to the nozzle and returns the container 33 to the original position by descending. On the upper end of the lifter, a gripper 38 which grips the container bottom section is installed. The gripper consists of a body the top surface of which mounts the container bottom surface, a rod which vertically penetrates the center of the body, and a gripping arm which grips the side surface in a vicinity of the container bottom section by the vertical motion of the rod with a shaft installed on the body as the fulcrum point. The body, the rod and the gripping arm ensure the motion of the gripper, and ensure the mechanical integrity of the gripper, and at the same time, are exposed on the outside of the gripper.
