The invention relates to a domestic appliance, in particular, a refrigerator (1), comprising a body (2) with an inner container (9) and appliance external walls (3, 3a, 3b, 3c), with an insulation layer (11) therebetween of at least one inlaid vacuum insulation panel (12, 12a, 12b, 12c). According to the invention, the domestic appliance or refrigerator (1) may be economically produced in high quality, wherein at least one vacuum insulation panel (12, 12a, 12b, 12c) is glued in a planar manner with a two-component adhesive (13) on an inner side (14) of a device outer wall (3, 3a, 3b, 3c). Expensive fixing means can thus be avoided and an even surface for the external appliance walls (3, 3a, 3b, 3c) guaranteed. |
