A process for the urea production involves mixing ammonia and gaseous carbon dioxide, preliminarily divided into two parts, at elevated temperature and pressure, with directing one part into the stripper as stripping-agent, and the second part as the workflow for injection of the gas flow from the stripper into the vertical condenser, redirection of the formed mixture, which consists of urea, ammonium carbamate and carbon dioxide and ammonia, to bottom of the urea synthesis reactor, where during the movement of the mixture upward to the discharge valve the ammonium carbamate is converted into urea, and then redirected to the stripper for ammonia stripping in the counterflow of carbon dioxide and the producing the urea solution, with directing this solution to the stage of further distillation and the nonreacted substances to recycling. The liquid carbon dioxide is additionally added into the flow of liquid ammonia, which is redirected to the upper part of the condenser. |
