A mulching cutter of covered plants plants for cutting the plants laid on the surface of a field in the same direction by means of moving thereof in perpendicular to said direction. The cutter has a passive multidisk rotary knife with a horizontal axis disposed in bushings on a U-like frame with a mounted unit and supporting wheels.
