The invention relates to a hands-free device for controlling the flow of water from a tap, characterised in that the device consists of one or more micro-pushbuttons affixed to the edge of the sink and activated upon contact with the user's body which, by applying pressure against or approaching same, activates the circuit installed in the electrical junction box. Similarly, it is possible to use a strip including an inductive, capacitive, infrared-based or microwave-based detector circuit depending on the requirements of the device or location. All of the circuits used switch the relay and simultaneously switch the electrovalve, thereby starting or stopping the flow of water from the tap. The location and device can vary depending on whether it is being used with a work top, washbasin or shower. |
