The belt (20) has lower and upper connection sections lying partly one above the other, so that parallel longitudinal thread sections are bent or moved upward and downward from the lower and upper connection section, respectively to straps. The connection sections with longitudinal sided end regions (40.1, 40.2) lie parallel to one another in such a manner that the longitudinal thread sections are bent or moved to the straps. The longitudinal thread sections are attached to a connecting element (50), so as to form a connection zone (58). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a continuous belt (2) a machine for manufacturing a fibrous material.
