PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method using a wire saw capable of improving accuracy of a cut surface compared with conventional technology even if a material to be cut has a slope and the wire saw intersects with the slope. SOLUTION: The cutting method using the wire saw includes a step of applying an adhesive to the slope of the material to be cut which has the slope intersecting with a relative advancing direction of the wire saw with an angle other than the right angle, and a step of cutting the material by the wire saw to cause the wire saw to intersect with the slope.
