PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for express way, which allows a user to easily confirm whether an express way includes a free section, and further to easily select whether to pass the express way, and a control method and a control program therefor. SOLUTION: An express way data acquisition part 31 acquires information for the type, distance and display color of each link and a toll gate included in an express way from a storage device 12, and stores the information in the memory. A toll/free section determination part 32 determines, for each link of the express way, whether the link is a toll section or a free section. A drawing processing part 33 acquires, based on the type of each link determined by the determination part 32, the display color stored in the memory, and performs drawing for each link.
