PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column device applicable to a column jacket comprising an outer column jacket and an inner column jacket and capable of miniaturizing and reducing the cost. SOLUTION: The steering column device comprises a vehicle body fixed bracket 6 having a fixing side wall 5 arranged along the rocking direction of the inner and outer column jackets 2, 3, a fastening bracket 4 interposing between the outer column jacket 3 and the fixing side wall 5, a fastening member 7 fastening the fastening bracket 4 and the fixing side wall 5, a cam member 8 arranged in the fastening member 7 and capable of energizing the fastening bracket 4 toward the fixing side wall 5, a tension plate 10 supported by the vehicle body fixed bracket 6 and disposed opposite to the fastening bracket 4 with the outer column jacket 3 positioned therebetween, and a connection member 11 connecting the inner column jacket 2 and the tension plate 10.
