<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound recording device and appropriately controlling sound data, and to provide a sound reproducing device easily and appropriately controlling sound data to be reproduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes a record sound control part 21 for controlling sound to be recorded. The record sound control part 21 includes a relation determining part 22 for determining a relation between an object and an imaging person and outputting a determination result, and a sound control part 23 for controlling sound data on the basis of the determination result output from the relation determining part 22.
