<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power working machine having a simple structure and designed so that its handle can be reliably fixed to the machine body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The power working machine 101 is configured such that a handle 107 rotatably attached to the machine body 103 is provided with a handle fixing member 125 fixing the handle 107 to the machine body 103 or releasing the fixation, and with an output power adjustment member 131 for adjusting the output power of an engine 111. The handle fixing member 125 separates from the pulling operation area of the output power adjustment member 131 to allow the output power adjustment member 131 to be pulled when placed at a handle fixing position, goes into a pulling operation area 106a to inhibit the output power adjustment member 131 from the pulling operation when put on a handle fixation-releasing position, and further receives the interference by fingers in pulling operation, thus restricting its control movement to the handle fixation-releasing position from the handle fixing position when the output power adjustment member 131 is pulled by the fingers.
