<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely exhaust the leakage of combustible coolant from a vending machine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This automatic vending machine is provided with: a selling commodity 1; a commodity conveyance means 2 disposed in the lowest section and used for conveying commodity one by one; a middle cabinet open/close door 3 for interrupting air between a cabinet in which selling commodity is stored and an output port; a commodity extraction door 4 for enabling a commodity purchaser to extract commodity; and a leakage detection means 5 for detecting the leakage of coolant, if any. When the leakage of the coolant is detected by the leakage detection means 5, the commodity is continuously conveyed, and the middle cabinet open/close door 3 is fixed to an open state, so that the coolant can be exhausted.
