摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the come-off of a fastening part by increasing the shrink-fit fastening force of the fastening part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This assembly type crankshaft is manufactured by integrally assembling a plurality of split pieces 2B, 2C by fitting to one another at the fastening part. The fastening part includes a hole portion 7 formed in one of the adjacent split pieces 2B, 2C, and a shaft portion 6 formed on the other. The shaft portion 6 is previously formed into a reversely tapered shape with its diameter enlarged toward the front end, and a ridge portion 10 is previously formed at the opening peripheral edge of the hole portion 7 which the shaft portion 6 contacts around its root. During fastening, the hole portion 7 is heated to be expanded, and the shaft portion 6 is inserted into the expanded hole portion 7 and the shaft portion 6 is pushed around its root against the opening peripheral edge of the hole portion 7 to compress and deform the ridge portion 10. The hole portion 7 is deformed into a reversely tapered shape similarly to the shaft portion 6, corresponding to the thickness of the deformed ridge portion 10, and then the hole portion 7 is cooled to be shrunk.
