<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve effective cleaning by providing an electric fan and a hose body storage integrally with a lighting device and taking the hose body out of and into the hose body storage. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An electric vacuum cleaner 11 is provided with the hose body storage 25 installed between the lighting device 24 and a ceiling surface C. The hose body 14 that is connected to a sucking side of the electric fan 42 is made in a way that it can be taken out and put in from the hose body storage 25 through an opening 68. The hose body 14 is drawn out of the hose body storage 25 and connected with a dust collecting unit to effectively clean a room without pulling around a heavy vacuum cleaner body, for example.
