<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a display defect due to coagulation of particles by using a mask having such a structure that the mask does not contact with particles placed on a partition of a substrate when being put on the partition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the panel for information display, a mask 15-1 and masks 15-2 and 15-3 having recesses 15b formed on the substrate contact surface side of mask portions 15a covering a display medium-filled region, and masks 15-1 to 15-3 are successively aligned and disposed in a display area 12 per color of two or more kinds of display media (a display medium 3R etc.) different by color, and first to third display medium filling steps of filling two-color display parts corresponding to respective colors in the display area 12 with the display media are performed to fill a first two-color display part and a second two-color display part with display media of two different colors, whereby the two-color display parts of two kinds of combinations of different colors are formed within the display area 12.
