<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker in which steam is supplied in the inner kettle during steaming after cooking and heat retention, rice is delectably steamed by the steam, and humidification is conducted by steam during heat retention. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes a main body 1, an outer lid 2, an inner kettle 3, an inner lid 4 which covers the upper part of the inner kettle 3, an inner-lid steam pathway 7 which is placed on the inner lid 4, an outer-lid steam pathway 8 which is placed on the outer lid 2, and a restriction means 9 which restricts passage of steam between the outer-lid steam pathway 8 and the inner-lid steam pathway 7. In the rice cooker in which the outer lid 2 is equipped with a lid-heating means 10 which heats the inner lid 4, the inner lid 4 is placed close to the under surface of the outer lid 2, a dew condensation saucer 5 which covers nearly whole surface of the inner lid 4 is placed on the under surface of the inner lid 4. The dew condensation saucer 5 is composed of a material having a smaller heat capacity than that of the inner lid 4, and its circumferential surface has direct contact with the under surface of the inner lid 4 through a seal packing 5d. A saucer part 5a is equipped with a plurality of steam flow pathways 5j and a lid-heating means 10 is electrified during steaming and heat retention, thereby dew condensation water accumulated in the dew condensation saucer 5 is supplied as steam from the steam flow pathways 5j into the inner kettle 3.
