PURPOSE: A hood stay rod cap of a car is provided to reduce the number of components by optimizing the shape of a stay rod cap, to cut down the cost by reducing the number of components, and to reduce assembly time and costs. CONSTITUTION: A hood stay rod cap of a car contains a cap(40) coupled integrally to one end of a stay rod(30), and a clip(42) inserted to a hood panel and formed integrally on one side of the cap, wherein the clip is composed of a support(44) projected to one side from the cap and an actuator(46) formed to have elasticity toward the opposite to the projecting side of the support.
