PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewer-adaptive transmission apparatus and reception apparatus for a mobile server type broadcast.

SOLUTION: The reception apparatus includes: a means (S11) for acquiring beforehand from a predetermined information providing medium external information presenting information about channel scan of a program information, relating to the program information corresponding to viewer attribute information and information about a channel for tuning to the program information; a means (S12) for automatically setting the time to start the channel scan and tuning of the channel on the basis of the information about the channel scan and the information about the channel for tuning simultaneously with acquisition of the external information; a means (S13) for starting the set channel scan and tuning of the channel at the starting time; and a means (S13) for displaying program information obtained by tuning on a predetermined display section.
