<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater preventing reduction of usable hot water caused by a fact that the hot water not reaching a heating-up target temperature is stored in an upper portion of the hot water storage tank, and a temperature of the hot water in the upper portion of the hot water storage tank is lowered. <P>SOLUTION: In this heat pump water heater in which a liquid for hot water supply is heated by using a heat pump unit 2 and the heated liquid is stored in the hot water storage tank 1, a target heating-up heat quantity is calculated from the amount of used hot water, and an additional reheating time in a daytime zone is calculated on the basis of the difference between the heat storage amount in the hot water storage tank 1 and the heating-up target heat storage amount, at the termination of a midnight time, so that the additional reheating time is compared with a predetermined reference time to correct it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
