NONWOVEN FABRIC, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND WIPING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric having both high designability and good strength characteristics, a method for producing the same, and a wiping material using the nonwoven fabric. SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric includes a plurality of stripes each having a regular pattern and separated from each other, wherein the regular pattern is formed by rearranging a part of fibers of a fiber web entangled by structural fibers through hydroentanglement. The stripe has a width of 4-50 mm. The longitudinal direction of the stripe is preferably parallel to the MD direction (longitudinal direction) of the nonwoven fabric. It is preferable for the structural fibers to contain 5-40 mass% heat fused fibers which have been heat fused. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
