<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation feeing giving input device allowing suppression of reduction of a lead-in force in a peripheral part in a long direction of a button when the button wherein a length in a longitudinal direction and a length in a lateral direction vary at a certain degree is displayed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The magnitude of the lead-in force given by this input device is calculated individually in an x-axis direction and in a y-axis direction. That is, in each indication position P1-P4 or the like, the magnitude of the lead-in force is calculated based on a distance dx, dy to a center position C<SB>0</SB>viewed in the x-axis direction, in the y-axis direction. Thereby, because the lead-in force occurs in one of the x-axis direction and y-axis direction even in a position distant from the center position C<SB>0</SB>of the button BL at a certain distance, a composed lead-in force can be made to occur even in the peripheral part of the button BL with a certain magnitude.
