<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening seal of which the hollow seal portion cannot be broken by contact with a passenger and of which the sealing performance is excellent. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The opening seal is configured to be attached to a door opening edge formed at a body of an automobile, and includes an attaching base having a substantially U-shaped cross section and attached to a flange formed along the door opening edge and the hollow seal portion integrally formed therewith. The opening seal is formed by extrusion molding over the full length and a first extrusion molding part 15 of which the hollow seal portion is formed of a solid material L and a second extrusion molding part 16 of which seal portion is formed of a sponge material P are connected to each other at two positions C by film adhesion to form an annular shape. The first extrusion molding part 15 is arranged extending from a rear pillar exclusive of the vicinity of upper end Ka along a circumference of a doorway to a front pillar lower part Ja via a side sill 13, and the second extrusion molding part 16 is arranged at a remaining portion.
